KO2's vs A/T3W's

Wonder which brand will wear the best I got 80,000 miles out of a set of Bfg ATKO2’s on my FZJ80 and these new BFG ATKO2 are supposed to wear longer so I’d love to see 100,000 miles And I’m all on road use

I did slash 2 Toyo AT2's last week. One was being careless and driving too fast to return to the group on a jagged rock trail. The other I went down a pinched spot that I likely shouldn't have. The tires themselves have excellent grip and never had an issue with the performance on the trail. My truck is pretty loaded and I wonder if I need to air down less to limit the pooching. I ran Toyo MTs for 4 years on my 80 and never once slashed a tire, but my truck was lighter, 16 inch rims and 35 inch tires. I aired the 80 down to 18 and have been airing the 200 to 22. Maybe I need to go to 26psi

I was really grateful I ran two spares as I have slashed a tire in Moab before and having to get a tire to run a trail the next day was a pain.

My issue could all be operator error and I still need to adjust to the big heavy 200 as I do have it very loaded. The new Aux fuel tank and spare underneath don't help

Good thing is I had certificates on the 2 at Discount and I got two brand new tires for$75 total and they had 20K miles on them
