That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. I guess if they won't work for me, I could always offer them to someone on here who could use them.

Thanks
Yep they fit.....just put them on my 84 mini....no longer bolts needed...just a little squeeze to get them started.

Once again, they are displaying their lack of knowledge about their products.

:meh:
Yep...happened on 3 things I have ordered in the last two weeks.

Wish I had seen those before I spent $60 on new ones from TLC ....:doh:

Ordered mine from Gary today. Curious that they "don't do part numbers" in their order-taking, just descriptions. Not that I'm an old order-entry expert. Wait a minute, I am!

Anyone have the size, thread pitch, & length of the original bolts?

Jose... if you buy them and they do not fit... I'll buy them off of yah.....

No you won't buy them off me....I'll give them to you! :)

Great product...used them on both my minis & my 83' FJ60......Can't see em' changin the knuckle for 86' but can't prove they didn't either....all my stuff is 85' & older.

Ok guys,
I think the original size of the knuckle wiper bolts were: M6-1.0 x 10mm (10mm hex head and 10mm long)

The ones that I installed were: M6-1.0 x 16mm (10mm hex head and 16mm long)(Grade 8.8)

I also used a split-washer and a flat washer on each of the new bolts.

I hope that helps!! Good luck

Thanks for that info as I'm going to need it myself.

Great thanks

Adam there is a thread in the tech section I believe that covers the change and the fact that on a few later models the holes don't line up perfect. Easy fix a drill and a few minutes was all it took. Sorry don't remember the exact thread or I would have put it in for you. Still looking Good!!:)
