Hey all...
Im looking at doing my knuckles since Im waiting on FIS to send back my ECM (no date given :mad::mad: )

I have looked at Marlin Crawler and Cruiser Outfitters.

Marlin offers the kit with the NSK bearings.
Any body has any info on this brand (+/-)
Marlin Crawler : Heavy Duty Axle Parts and Accessories

Cruiser Outfitters offers the kit with Timken Bearings
Cruiser Outfitters

Cruiser Outfitters is out of the Koyo bearings which is what I want and have a 1 to 2 weeks waiting...

Any body knows of any other vendor where I can get this kit with Koyo bearings...

Oh yeah both MC and CO have the Marlin Seals in stock...

I did a search on MUD regarding bearings and found Timken's can be a big headache...

Being my first time doing all this I want to get it right and do it only once.....l

Thanks.

Manu !!

The cry of "Treason!" will surely rise from what I'm about to say, but the truth of the matter is that bearings made in the US will be better quality overall than the Japanese stuff. Just get the right ones, if you actually need them, put them in, shim them properly and forget about it.

Timken bearings are fine.

Marlin and get the HD inner axle seals and get on with the important stuff!

Randy, Im getting the Marlin's HD inner axles seals either way...but Im a bit confused between the three brands outthere Koyo/Timken/NSK.
I hate being a Barney (rookie).

I hear yah on the important stuff but I have ran out of reasons to call FIS :crybaby::crybaby::confused::confused::D:D.
They having issues with the deletion of the two fuel tank sensors....

Congrats on the 62 eh.. it looks nice !!!

I have used Timken and Koyo both are good bearings. But in the real of it if they are not properly lubricated it wouldn't matter what brand you ran. Either one of those 2 would be fine. Guarantee I couldn't tell the difference by driving it. BTW thanks it has been a long time coming. Who cares if gas is ready to hit 4.00 a gallon. I can still drive my truck!

Koyo, NSK and Timkin are all top quality bearings I would run any of them without hesitation.

I'll shop for them tomorrow.....

Hey man! let me know when you'll attempt this and if I'm free, I can give you a hand. I have this on my list of things to do to so it'll be a learning experience too.
