I recently installed the ome kit with man a fre shackle reversal kit on my 60! Two issues with it though! It leans to the right about an inch and there is a knock that comes from the back when I turn either direction! It doesn't knock every turn and it seems worse when the turns are slow. I think it is coming from the driver side. ANy ideas?
Did you pull out the rubber pads and the metal pieces on the top? They make spacers that sit around the sping centering pin that aligns it in the spring perch axle hole. Look at the spring perch on the axle and see if the spring pin can slide around in the opening?
I've heard of the classic Land Cruiser lean post OME install. Spector and/or Man-A-Fre sell a compensating shim. I just continued to work at torquing the clamp nuts on a regular basis. As I've put miles on the truck, it has pretty much leveled off. As for the clunk in the rear, try applying grease between the ends of the spring leaves. It worked for me; I suspect, however, it will become an addition to my maintenance list. N.M.

One think I have seen several times with regards to the lean is that the OME is designed for the Aussie 60, which has the drivers side sit a little higher to balance the load. Since we're on the other side, you need to switch them. One set of springs will sit a little bit higher if you set them on the ground.
Does that make sense? If they don't settle right, you may consider switching sides on them. Do some searching. This has been covered, but I don't remember who covered it.
I think this lean this is pure BS. I had to swap one of my springs to get two of the same height after buying the set to get the rig to sit level. I have read so many posts from guys saying the same thing.
About that popping, it's likely your bushings. The polyurethane bushings that OME sells are the toughest things I have ever seen, but they do like to pop, especially when a bit of water gets on them.

thanks for the info! I have put the Spacers in, and I will try greasing the springs.
I have the greasable shackle kit with the shackle reversal kit, Hope beating it up as soon as I get my motor mounts will break it in and it will stop popping!
