My carpet on passenger side of my 96 LX is always wet even after a couple of days after it rains. I know there are tons of threads on this topic and have checked everything from sunroof drain holes ( which work fine - no blockage) windshield rubber seals are dry as well, so
will check the condensation drain hose from evaporator core for possible blockage. My question is how does the passenger side kick panel come off? I can't see any screws or plugs anywhere.Does it clip on or what? The carpet looks like it tucks under the door steplate but again, with no clips or screws visible. Thanks for any info anyone has!! - Tim

IIRC, it just pulls off. Just a thought, could it be your heater core that is leaking?
Thanks for the response - If it was my heater core I would notice a distinct antifreeze smell which there is not. I think its just plain water.

You need to remove the floor/door trim(either use a screw driver or a fancy panel clip tool) first then the kick panel is pulled out. Also you need to remove the little clip just under the carpet on the fire wall. later robbie
