I got a new master key cut using the VIN at my Toyota dealer. Had them cut the blank for a Corolla PN# 89785-60160. Parts guy said it would never work. I followed the programming for a new master key here. I put the transmitter into one of the YotaMD key fobs. No more broken keys. Everything works great.
I bought spare keys off amazon, had cut at the local hardware using the valet key, program them myself. Total cost was south of $50 for two keys and having them cut.

I bought off SE on Ebay. they may have changed their name. I got both valets and transponders. Had a local locksmith cut, I programed. I ordered one valet initially, in case they were junk. They worked, so I bought more. I can send you the self-program sequence if you want. I spent $100 for five total valet and transponders and lock smith cutting blanks

For my daughter's RAV4, I bought a key from an eBay store for $6, had ACE cut it for $4, moved the module from the broken master key into the new key. ACE had the replacement key there too - $20.

Local Home Depot cut mine for free, one they didn't sell me.
I dont know what your trying to do. I had a working key but the plastic broke. So i bough a plastic key replacement from Aliexpress. Replaced the transponder in the new key and it was good to go. I just went to Home Depot to get the key cut for free. They cut my keys for a few cars now for free. Especially for the keys they dont carry. I think its the same thing for Lowes. This key worked for me. Local locksmith cut it, 5 mins of programing, Done. Saved a ton not going to dealership.

I have a 1999 Hundy, I assume this has a chip in the key?
How does one know if they have the master key?? My 100 only came with one key and if like to program my own
Yes. It has a transponder chip.
Insert your key in ignition and if security light goes off immediately, you have a master key. If you have to turn the key to get the security light off, you have a valet key.
