Keyless entry not working

My ‘08 LC hasn’t been used much and I’m getting ready to sell it but now the keyless entry has stopped working. The fob locks and unlocks but when I lift the door handle I get a little red flashing light on the fob. Yeah, I didn’t know there was one either. Same when I push the button on the door handle. I did the battery disconnect but no change. I’m going to get new fob batteries but I’m assuming that if the remote locks work the batteries are okay. Anybody else have this?

Try this:

"Battery saving mode (not used for X days or too long near the car, unused) Press Unlock twice while holding Lock. Light will flash 4 times to confirm reactivation."

Thanks but nope, didn’t work. I have had some moisture issues so I’ll try the Auto Electric guy. It might be a bad connection between the sensor and activator because the sensors seem to see the buttons because the light on the fob indicates that the sensor sees the button push and handle lift. No click from the lock activators.
