The other day I parked my ‘05 LX on an inclined driveway. Not very steep but was inclined and truck was facing up the hill. When I came back out about 30 min later, the key wouldn’t turn in the ignition. Was almost like the steering wheel was locked but it wasn’t. After trying many thing for a few minutes, I overrid the shifter and put it in neutral and let the truck roll back a foot or so. Tried again and it worked like it should.
Anyone had this happen? It hasn’t done anything close since. Could this be a warning sign that the ignition tumbler is about to go out?
