First off I want to wish you all a Happy 4th of Dependence Day.
Knowing how my dog gets today I started early giving him his doggie downers (25 mg Acepromazine tablets). He's an 11 year old Golden Retriever that hates loud noises. I gave him his first tablet at 11 am.
Another at 2 pm
Two more tablets at 5 pm
Another two at 8 pm
He's staggering around like Keith Richards at Altamont trying to get out of the house.
In the meantime I've given up several 4th of July outings with my family to baby sit this animal so he doesn't hurt himself or anyone else. I tip my frosty cold beverage to you and yours.
In the meantime me and "Keith" are jamming to a bit of "Lamb of God" cringing at the din outside.
