hi,

i want to try to level my LC; driving me nutts that it's got that lean to one side.

where are the valves to "regulate" the system located? what size/type tool required?

i've seen on other threads that say that one should not open the valves more than 3-turns, is that correct number or maximum number of turns?

thanks in advance for your help!:cheers:

5 mm Allen key is needed. There is a metal box with a hole in the bottom on the drivers side inside the frame rail about 1/2 way between the front and rear tires. If you shine a flashlight into the hole you will see two Allen heads.

Make sure the truck is on a completely level surface. Turn both, left 3 full turns, no more. Stand on the rear bumper and aggressively rock the truck back and forth. Get back underneath and tighten.

You are done.

Gents,
thank you very much!!!

i recall the one previous thread, but the detailed instruction with picture was exaclty what i was loooking for. my garage lights turn off automatically, so every time i try to get under my LC they shut off before i can locate the black "box"

this will hopefully fix this, otherwise will have to adjust via front-left coilover with a 1-2 turns down on it.

will update accordingly

It may very well be a coil over adjustment over the KDSS. Give it a try though and let us know.

If it is a coil over adjustment, unload the wheel by jacking the truck up.

i will arrive back home on the 1st, and will try the KDSS first. i read that the valves should be left for a period of time before closing them again; what do you suggest?

Never heard that. Once it's been jostled on level ground, the. Settles, should be good to close them. Not sure what leaving them open for a while would do.
