I bought a month ago a Lc200 series, 2014 4.5 diesel v8. Aweeeesomeee completely in love but wanted to make some changes whit the front part lean situation so I bought 30 mm lift kit from eBay and everything was looking good until they were making the install and decided to open the purge valves on the KDSS. At these point I didn’t know that there was a procedure to do these and the nightmare beggan

After they finish there was a 1 inch and a half lean drivers side. I was scaredddd. First time driving the 200 with the lift and the truck was wubbley soft and like a boat floating and super uncomfortable to drive. Talk to a friend and he explained that what they did was not correct and I was in trouble.

Took it to the dealer and they were not happy about fixing it, at these point I though that it was unfixible. I was so sad reading about all the people expiernces on leans and kdss unfixible problems

I study every single case, read about everything I could get, there is no info on Toyotas manual of fixing or manual of maintange, there’s little to no info on the web or YouTube. The most helpful videos is one from a Arab guy that was reffiling and represurizing the sistem, someway somehow I understand it in a way.

Went to the dealer again and they said they will help me but that had to change everything according to spec…… I agreed but I told them that I need it to see the proceed of the kdss refill just to have the info in my brain…. Two days later the let me in, it’s a normal process with a specific machine that only dealers have, they plugged the machine to the terminals in the drivers side, they put 4.5 lts of AHC suspension fluid and presurized it to 405 to 460 psi, the only tricky part is that they cannot let the pressure drop because they have to do everything all over again. The truck end up perfectly balance and with perfect ride high. If someone need help I will be more than happy to give all the info a have

Good looking truck and sorry you had to deal with that. I wouldn't want to be standing anywhere near it while they were pressurizing up to 450 psi!

Interesting. I was actually thinking about the KDSS system yesterday as I had to loosen those screws to install rear springs. This atep had me concerned because of all the things can go wrong, just like you described.

I’m glad you got it all sorted out.
