Looks nice. How well do the bumper lights compensate for the blocked tail lights? Any concern over the partially blocked plate?

The license plate was covered much more, so I drilled new holes (in the plate) and moved it over to the right as much as I could. There is a plate holder accessory to mount it to the back of the tire. I'll be getting one of those soon. As for the lights, I think there is enough light visible that I won't have to worry about a ticket for it, however the reverse lights are seriously hindered. I would expect if you have two tires, an alternate backup light would be necessary.

Does the tailgate sit with that bumper & swingout installed? Looks great!

Yes, I can take a pic of the tailgate down, and swing out to the side if you like. As others have noted in the past, the worse part of having the swing-out is that you have to move it out of the way, even to just open the top hatch.

That is a great looking bumper man. Wow!

Thanks.. I knew it must look good, because my wife hates it. The reactions I get from driving/parking lots is proportionate to my wife reaction to the mods I do.

Also, I mounted the drivers side Labrak antenna mount... next up is to mount a firestik.

Kaymar's are pretty rare. Here's a pic of mine (painted w/ matching urethane), checkerplate is hard-anodized, still holding after 7 years.

Looking good.. so what was the final ruling, did you have to remove the powder coat to get the bearings on the spindle? just curious...

And I love the Kaymar personally, it's a great bumper and I used the heck out of the one I put on my 80 years back, held up great to the occasional ledge, couldn't beat it for everything else, best swing-out latch system available, IMO. If they weren't so expensive now, I'd have gotten another one but alas went ARB instead.

Nope, worked like a champ as soon as I put it down.
