Knewbee's are supposed to show pics....please show mercy beacuse I don't have a digital camera yet.

I'm in the market for knew tires...most of the searches I've done discuss BFG vs Revo's...but knoboby ever talks about Kumho in their tire reviews. Maybe this is for good reason.

However, the Kumho Venture AT is within the top 5 tires listed on the Tire Rack's web site.

Since we're talking about a $200 differential between the major brands for 4 tires, would someone with Kumho's please let me know what you think of your tires?

Thanks,
Dan
BTW...when you have the middle seats folded up, the side step to the rear makes a great 1 gallon milk carrier.

I've had the Kumho Exsta in 275/70/16 for about a year now. Nice on road (quiet, good grip in the rain), fine in the sand even without airing down. They wore a little faster than I expected and I am replacing them Tuesday with Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos in 285/75/16.

I don't off-road much more than fire roads and the sandy beach.

Hope this helps.

David

Ok, ok, this isn't what you asked for, but you might seriously look at the non-Revo Bridgestone Dueler AT (#693). They are awesome tires for the money and they wear like iron (without the harsh ride of a steel tire ;) ). I loved mine and have a couple friends running them on big, heavy Suburbans with wonderful reviews. Quite a bit cheaper than the Revos/BFGs/Goodyears.

I put the Kumho venture a/t's on my 94 as soon as I bought it. I haven't done any wheeling on it, but on the highway there is a slight hum not at all loud. I have only placed about 1200 miles on the truck since. I guess I am not much help-but I can't fault it yet. Very happy with the money I saved. However isn't there a $100 rebate from bridgestone right now with the purchase of 4 dueler tires? May have changed things for me if that promotion was happening.

Thanks for your tips, so I'm down to 3 makes of tires.

I'm not into numerology; however, this is something to think about...my e-mail address is pharmer694@aol.com, and my work address starts with 694 . Isn't the Bridgstone Dueler A/T Revo also known as the 694?

Hmmm.....

I'll see what kind of price my regular service garage will give me on the Revo, Destination, and Venture A/T's.

I would buy Kumhos in a second. I have the HTs on my diesel and they are the best road truck/towing tires I have ever run. Like friggin glue on the road, even in the rain.

If the AT and MT are hald as good they would be better than most other AT and MT tires I have run.

$100 rebate is for the more street-oriented HP. $75 on the popular A/T REVO, but this promo seems to end Oct 15.
