I'm about to get some Method NV's for the LC. I was leaning toward Falken Wildpeak's after reading some really good reviews.

BUT...

A funky side of me wants to try white letters out with these Methods on LC. Yes I said white letters! I know I know. I too usually think white lettering looks cheesy. But I think this is particularly true on an already sporty casual truck like say a Jeep. It is already sporty and casual so needs nothing to dress it down. But the uber conservative and otherwise serious LC might benefit from such dare I say - playfulness!

And I think the bright brushed aluminum center with black lip and then the white LC might be awesome looking!

Now back to the topic... The K02 has a white letter side where the Falken doesn't. But will I regret the K02's due to a much more rough ride? (Yes I know the pic below is NOT a K02)

I've got Falken's and they ride great... at the 37PSI I have them set to. They can ride harsh also if I were to have them at 40+PSI.

That said, they are both load E tires with stiff sidewalls. Both can ride harsh, but I personally think the biggest variable will the air pressure and fortunately you can tailor that to a point.

Go with what you want as I don't think ride quality is the discriminator.

If your KO2s were riding harshly...I suspect there was probably WAAAAAY to much pressure in them. Because my KO2s rode like butter. when they were first installed, Discount tire put a massive 55PSI in them for some reason. At their proper (for my tire size) SI of 42? Super nice ride.

KO2's are tried and true and are popular for a reason. I have had several sets and have no complaints. Tire pressure is everything and can make or break the ride quality. In saying that, I current rock the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and after 5k miles, and having had them in snow and tons of hard rain in the last month, they are unquestionably the best tire I have ever owned. They are very quiet for a hybrid tire and the minimal wear is noticeable. Not to confuse you more, but wanted to give my personal 2 cents :)

KO2s "harsh".? Certainly not mine (285/65). I run mine at 42 and occasionally let them sneak up to 43 (sshhh. don't tell gaijin) And they are smooth.

KO2s run smooth for me as well. Not a ton of size options though compared to competitors.

My KO2s were harsh for first 1,000 miles or so. After break in they seem like butter to me too.

You fit 285/65/18 on stock suspension?

285/65/18 only measure 32.5" so ya. Those will easily fit on stock suspension.

I've had a couple of sets of KO2's, they ride great. If it wasn't for the fact the Terra's on my 200 were damn near new when I bought it, I'd be rolling on KO2's right now.

Yep. As @Markuson said. About as large as you can go (width and height on an 18 - stock). There are a number of folks who use them with stock in the Tire Size database here on the forum.
