Hey y'all,

I'm in Austin this week, 12/21-12/27 and would like to check out an 80 series that's been turboe'd or V8'ed. Was simply curious to see what an 80 with balls feel like!!! Of course, it's always nice to meet new folks and share a beer.

Hey Ali- I am not aware of any in Austin. There was a turbo'd one in SA a couple of years ago, but I think it's sold.

There was a guy in town that was trying to sell a LS swapped 80, but i don't know him nor do i know if he still has it.

how long ago? I know @warpdriv had one for sale but that was a 1-1.5 years ago if I recall. he now has his nice red 40.

No biggie, thought I'd check one out if avail. I'm driving back to NM with a truck and an empty horse trailer so scouring the local CL for stuff that I don't really "need".

Yeah, I recall your conversion and you sold it. No biggie, thought I'd just ask around. Right now, I'm up to my elbows into a '97 GMC 6.5TD that I need to get up and running by Friday so that i can head back home. it's a 2wd and I'm hoping like hell the weather will hold!!
