Just scored some Scepter Fuel Cans!

Long time lurker, just now getting around to finishing all of my little projects on my Dodge Ram Expedition Rig.

I started looking for Scepter Cans like we use everywhere in the world and I just now discover the crazy CARB issue. So I called up Scepter and a couple of distributors in the US.

Short version of the story, I found a large Military Surplus store locally that was listed as a client of one of the distributors. I called them up and they had 6 of the 5 gallon fuel cans in stock at 69.99 each. Picked them up, thirty minutes later. Bam!

Saved me a trip to Canada.

Hopefully some of you guys can find cans in some of the out of the way surplus stores that have some cans in stock.

i bought a couple from a dealer on ebay. these cans are outstanding quality, no wonder everyone recomends them, i plan to order a couple more,

Now someone correct me if i'm wrong but I think Scepter uses a "special" coating/lining/inserts on the insides of each of their cans for different uses.
