I decided to go all out on the ultimate car for performance, status, looks and style. I had to one up all of the 911s on here.
I bought a 2004 Crown Vic police interceptor at a govplanet auction and I'm turning it into a baby donk.
3" lift, rolling on 24s. I just finished the suspension and wheels and tires this weekend. I'm installing the stereo now.

No. Its a 3" lift of the factory P71 cop suspension. The cars older than '02 can go full air ride easily, but '03+ went to struts in the front.

It's amazing how much the technology leapfrogged from the last model to this one. Touch screens apply car play, built in hard drive. All the safety stuff I am getting use to. It will try and steer you back into the lane if it thinks your veering, unless your turn signal is on. Blind spot indicator is nice. It also displays a Red Car in my Heads up Display if it thinks with speed and distance I am going to rear end someone. I read if I get too close it will apply the brakes.

It is a blast to drive and so much nicer than my last Z4

I like the balance of the big and built Landcruiser with the small roadster. Plus there is always the 40. I do have choices when I go out to my garage

I miss my z4. and really jealous you picked up the new one. That will be a blast to drive.

My other car is a 1992 Toyota Century VG40. I tend to rotate my 'other' car about once a year with a Cruiser being the constant. I try to go with something sporty. But I'm going on 2 years with the Century and absolutely love it. Put about 15k miles on it since I picked it up in Virginia and drove it home. I do have a lead on a Toyopet Crown right now that might tempt me to sell it but as of right now I can't see it happening. It's a fantastic, if not fast, automobile. I just lowered it two inches with some springs I got from Japan. The rear is air ride so just had to cut down the adjustment linkage.

I've seen the current Gen of these in the hotel pick up area in Tokyo. They look so regal and classy. i would love to ride around in one.

I hope to one day own one (in 24 years) and also hoping the used market is as reasonable as the current one. A used Century is surprisingly cheap considering the cost, rarity and prestige when new. I'll be looking for a v12 version in a couple of years as well. I have a friend who works for Toyota in Japan and he drove the new Century around the test track when it was in it's final development stages. He's said it's an incredible car.

Yes it is...

The paint and fit & finish is Rolls Royce, Maybach +... but totally in respectful chrome domestic market Japanese style with understated elegance and iconography...

The black paint on the C- pillar is so perfect you can use it as a quick glance vanity mirror with many eyes watching and not get caught... (if your cool about it... LOL)

It would be interesting to see it offered here, but I can see why it isn't worth the effort & certification costs with the feds...

I have the very rare and less desirable leather interior. For my budget I decided to go with a better mechanicals and paint with the leather interior rather than one that needed work but had the wool interior. It was a tradeoff I was okay with. I also didn't get the side curtains but had some brackets 3D printed by a friend and am in process of making my own side curtains. (I do have the power rear curtains)

Aftermarket front lace seat covers fit pretty well. The rear ones looked awful so I didn't install them. I watch yahoo auctions pretty closely for an authentic set but so far no luck. I have 2 sets of the white gloves, directly from Japan and yes I do wear them on occasion. There is some debate in the Century world of whether or not leather seats ever had the lace seat covers. I'm on aftermarket wheels and lowered so I'm not that uptight about originality and love the very Japanese authenticity of the seat covers. I rode in a few Crown taxis when I was there a couple years ago and totally dig the formality of the lace.
