You guys are so lucky...

Most Americans cant appreciate this vehicle. They like the big lifted douche Tundra's (that will likely never see dirt). Come on Toyota!!!

I would reconsider that statement if i were you :P

The high lift jack looks good mounted on the front bumper however I would be a little concerned about where it might end up in the event of a front end collision. :)
It would be bad to survive the collision only to be hurt by a flying jack.

Like many "Americans", I would sell my soul for a late model 70 Series and I would certainly "appreciate" the unique vehicle. The Tundra is certainly on the low end of annual sales when compared to other U.S. produced trucks so I am not sure us Americans like it that much. :)

So much hate on the Tundra i'm surprized..

The reason Tundra sales are not as good as expected was due to the 2008 recession which came to be shortly after the model's debut, then comes the skyrocketing fuel prices. The reason the big 3 may have better sales figures stateside is because they are purchased in fleets by the government and private institutions (e.g. Rental car companies, u-haul etc..). Lets also not forget the different variations of the competition compared to the tundra.

I've been through two (a 2007, and a Supercharged 2010). I used and abused both trucks in 120 degree + heat, offroading, towing way over the manufacturer set limit and used the trucks as daily driver and i can tell you.. Those trucks take quite a beating. They are more capable than any cruiser at towing and offroading with the right suspension setup and tires, then you have resale value.

Tundra's sell like hot cakes here in the middle east keeping in mind each and every single one of them is an import.

We loved our 05 Tundra and it performed great through all the abuse! We'd buy another one in a heart beat if we needed that kind of truck. There's a pic of it all expo'd out on our profile.

My response was not intended to paint the Tundra in a negative light but was simply an effort to point out that not every American citizen would choose a Tundra over a 70 Series truck. ( not that we will ever have that choice) I live in the middle of big farm country where trucks are seldom "clean" and the only issue hurting the Tundra is the lack of a diesel which most farmers prefer. :)

Haha.. Its cool man, wasn't pointing any fingers. I just loved my Tundra so much and was very impressed with how they both held up. An LC is an LC and that statement should be self explanitory to most on this forum, I was just saying IMHO; Tundra is an awesome truck and way beyond the competition in almost everything apart from HDs nd diesel ;)

Apologies for the OP on hijacking the thread.. Back to topic

Yes I installed rear leaf springs, around 2-2.5 inch raise in total height.

What is the tyre size of those ATs....? 285/75-16??? And what is the color of the over fenders? Coz GEN spec didn't offer me over fenders so I ordered them seperately. If you can please let me know the color code of those grey over fenders. It is really matching with the body.

You have to cut in the wheel arch for the rear overfender.:bang:
