In regards to the Fuel/Temp Gauge ground issue.... I noticed on a 150 miles trip to ATL that the "maxed out" temperment of the two gauges only happened while the fan clutch was engaged. I guess its coincidental (sp).

Maybe I just thought to look at the temp gauge when I heard the fan clutch engage, I just found it to be interesting that the only time I could "catch" the gauges misbehaving was while the fan clutch was engaged.

ALSO... after the 32's and new muffler... WITH A/C ON.... We got nearly 14 MPG going and coming. This was ALL highway mileage. When we got to ATL we didn't drive anywhere. Just exciting compared to the 10-11 MPG I was getting. I kinda wish I didn't have to use the A/C to see how much that compressor negativly effects things.

Anywho... Planning on pulling the fuel gauge in the next few days to clean some grounds.

I bet you would of gotten 16 or so with the A/C off. Living out here (central oregon, 4k feet)
I hardly ever even turn the A/C on, just every now and then to circulate the thing. I'm form NC so I feel your pain after about april fools day...too hot for my old bones...

Also, The gauge thing could be that the A/C compressor is on at the same time the fan clutch is engageing, Don't know whaat electrical load other than the (dash) fan is happening while the A/C is running? But, that could be related...course you didn't ask for opinons..but I got so many I like to trow them out any time I can..
