I know , neither is mine. But soon i will have this and the wife has her barn so not too much time in the house soon for either of us. And the small garage here is going to turn into my gym.

Great things come to those that wait. I have been dreaming about this moment for at least 13 years now. Was too hard to do while in the military and not knowing where i might get stationed next. Hopefully this will be home for a long time.

Thanks Maria.

Not to much to report right now, got all of the sides / roof done and had 8 truck loads of clay brought in to level out the ground for the lating of the concrete starting Monday. Tomorrow is inspections / pest spraying.

Thanks.

Now if i can just find a good 9000 lbs lift for it in my price range it will be going in, in 30 days from now.

Had the extra concrete poured just for the lift in that area. 8 inches deep there.

Thanks, but there is a company in Highpoint thats sells the Mohawk lift for the main company. Just trying to see if anyone out there has ever used them or actually knows the name of them. Got their info from the manufacturer.

Before i drop some good coin on this i am trying to do all my homework first. My life is going to depend on this thing.
I never feel comfortable under those things. It is not the hydraulics that I trust it is the placement of those arms on the truck. Freaky.

You are right. Buy something good. Your life depends on it. We had a freind get crushed under a car when he put it on cinder blocks. Of course they failed and his wife found him under the car that evening.

The only thing i have done kinda like that is have a cruiser tub sitting on some hardwood firewood that was about 2 foot around. I was not under the tub but it was pretty redneck lookin. I have also seen some bad things happen like the above, and it never turns out good.

I am looking at the Mohawk 10,000 lbs one right now but that is some serious coinage.

Another little update. Electrical guy just left at 2000hrs. Took me telling someone that i was going to jump on someones desk to get these people out here. Have the electrical inspect and final inspect tomorrow and then hopefully the contractor for Lumbee electric can come out after that and hook up my power and all will be well soon.
