Anyone driven this road recently... I am planning on going to Burning Man from the East - driving my 2000 UZJ100 - and a lot of talk this year is about how bad this road is. Anyone have any experience on it?

Haven't been on Jungo since January. Its a mining and RR access road so its always in fairly good shape. Given that the mine trucks always seem to turn up the sharp rocks ready to slice into any thin tread/sidewall tire. There are more darn flats on this road than any other gravel/rock roads I travel. Sorry I don't have any fresh/current info on Jungo for you.

Do you think my Bridgestone Revo's will be fine? Obviously you cannot know, but I don't think they fall into the thin tread / sidewall category...

If they are in good condition then you should be fine. If they're down to 3/32" I'd probably suggest replacing them ;).

They are in good shape. Damn things run like they are made of steel, as far as treadwear goes. Thanks.

My Revos have done well on New Mexico, Colorado and Moab rocks. Their only weakness is mediocrity on snow and I attribute that to a trade off for Iron-like wear.

Drove it in May. Four vehicles. Cooper MT/s, Cooper AT, BFG AT, Stock Tacoma AT. No problems - except the rat tail file I rammed into my front tire. No issues with the road - 60 mph for me, 45-50 for the others.
