June Trip Crystal Fence Building SATURDAY 3rd

The day started out normal, just my friend Bob (Jeep TJ with toyota badge ziptied on ) and I heading up from greeley. First roadblock was the cattle drive...woot woot! big times now! We then proceeded up Moody and picked up a TON OF TRASH! it was kinda bad and sad to see. We finally met up with Frank and the crew and started work.

We dug, poured more concrete, put up fence, knocked down trees and generally got it pretty formidable. I think we owe a big thanks to my friend Bob for doing a TON of welding/torching/fabricatin on the gate, then taking some home to finish it up and bring it back the next day. very cool! I"m hoping to see more pics as the day goes on about the fence.

It was pretty dry/hot/dusty...normal but we had alittle fun towards the end and thats where most the pics are.

I didn't make it up till Sunday. My Sunday started out by driving home from DIA - my head hit the pillow around 1 AM. Then at the early hour of ~11 AM I was at Home Depot trying to figure out what wire to buy for the Redi Welder. By the time I pulled up to the Crystal Gate, Bob was ready to leave. We pulled some batteries and welded the rest of the gate.

This was a great job crew!

The camping sounded like great fun, I am bummed I didn't get to join the camp out. I think we will have to plan some more camping trips!
