Starting this thread to see if what kind of interest there would be in the jerry cans and to see if we can get a group-buy price. Seller is in College Station. He has 100 "perfect" cans and 200 of the non-perfect ones.

I talked to the seller of the fuel cans. He said the discount would apply only if you buy 100 cans at once.

I'm guessing this is not going to happen on this group buy.

The discount amount was going to around $1.00 per can which is not worth it.

For me, at $30/can, it still seems like a good deal. I am even considering buying two extra ones & sell them on ebay. From what I've seen, they sell for around $60, which would basically get mine for free or near free.

I had a buddy going through a few weeks ago. If you get the less than perfect ones, look under each and every lid. I bought six and three had busted lids.. I guess its the lid, the brown part that holds the gasket and snaps to the strap. My friend didnt really know what he was looking at so I have more money to spend on the cans. Live and learn. Just thought I would give you a heads up.
