I have a contact in Japan searching for JDM stuff for me for my 44 refresh. Does anyone need any RHD, JDM specific stuff for thier rigs?

He can get new and used parts and we can all ship together to save $$$.

Thought I would throw it out there for you guys!

Nope... Just a guy in japan that loves cruisers...

I think so... I'll confirm he is cool with me posting his info and will get you in touch...

Is the 80 series dash grab bar a JDM part? I want a tan one.

I've been thinking about doing the grab bar add as well on my '97 80, I remember my wife liking the one I have on my '90 62...
Apparently the brown (aka tan, oak, sable) ones (p/n 74670 60040 E0) are out of production and rare as hen's teeth. The more gray model (p/n 74670 60040 B0) seems to be available from a number of places. All that said, it seems Cruiser Dan has the brown ones in stock for $79; however, they are really gray ones that he's had painted with vinyl paint of the correct color... PS - There are some good write ups on this mod in the following threads, including some debate regarding potential airbag deployment interference / safety issues on 95-97 models that's at least worth considering and acknowledging before proceeding...

My other favorite is the JDM cargo light. Plug and play. There’s a write up on install here somewhere. Just like the 7-pin mod, there’s a connector sitting up there waiting to meet the light assembly.

That was going to be my first question. IMO 80 series have enough grab handles anyway.
