I am looking for an estimate of how much I would list my LC for. I’m considering selling due to me just not having the time to enjoy it like I would want to.

1996 Land Cruiser FZJ-80
About 45k miles
Triple locked from factory.
Stock aside from radio head unit and side mirrors (not auto fold RIP)

It’s currently in CA, and can’t be registered there due to it requiring an OBD2 conversion. But I’m shipping it to myself in SC, and will get registered there just fine.

Thanks for any input you guys have, I have been looking, but with how unique this one is, it’s hard to find a comparison.

I would consult the ancient text below to get an idea of the market but RHD is a tough sell if it’s not a manual diesel. Where in SC? I’m in Charleston a couple times a month. If you’re near there I’d like to check it out. Good luck with the sale.

No market at all for them? I figured the low miles and triple locked would have some value behind it? But I had never looked since I hadn’t considered selling it until I started traveling a lot for work.

Im not to far from Charleston! Definitely doable, going to be a couple weeks til I get it out here.

I wouldn’t say no market. There is a butt for every seat. I’m sure there are a lot of people that are wanting a truck like this. I was just pointing out the RHD is a concession that is usually offset by something we couldn’t get here. The low miles and condition will be that for your buyer.

My opinion, you should post in the classifieds with a detailed description of the truck, include plenty of photos, and include an asking price. Only you know what you want for it.

Then delete this thread since this is the tech forum and this thread adds no tech regarding 80 series.
