Trail: Smoke Creek(?), North of Pyramid Lake.

We will head out in this general direction of Smoke Creek and go wherever the road conditions take us.

Meet: Save Mart Market on Pyramid Hwy (SR.445). Corner of Pyramid and La Posada/Eagle Canyon.

Leave time: 8 AM. Please be on time, fueled up, and ready to go.

Trail Difficulty: Mostly 1 or 2 maybe 3 depending on road/weather conditions.

Additional Equipment needed: Pack a lunch and bring whatever extra winter gear you usually carry in your car.

Duration of Run: This will probably be an all day run

I might be in. Depends on what the week brings. If I come, it will most likely be in the tow rig.

@will I'm not sure, nothing epic at any rate. I can throw a couple of cans on the rack just in case.

I'd appreciate that (assuming I can get out of my sky tavern duties that day). I'm good for about 330 highway miles right now.

On that note, I've been thinking about a single can carrier that mounts relatively low to the front or rear receiver on the XJ. I may build one soon, but no time for it until spring. The body shop is finally getting started on the pig :bounce: so I need to focus on getting that motor together...

Gas is available in Gerlach and possibly Empire or out west to CA395. That's it up that way. Not counting a kind hearted rancher that would want to help someone in dire need ;)

Love to join y'all, but that's one of 7 Saturday classes that I'll be attending through May.

You may want to double check to see if those 2 FJ45's are still out there...

I was planning to go, but that is the same day as the Sportsmen's Expo in Sacramento. Is a tradition to go with my StepDad. Have fun guys.

Yep, they're still there. I was at the ranch on Friday. They're spoken for too.

Depending on the roads we may wind up in Doyle. The section of road that goes by Bonham Ranch that can get pretty sloppy.

I'm out, we are taking a shorter run through Eldorado Canyon due to time constraints for a trip on Sunday. Hope you guys have a lot of fun, wish we had the time to come with you.

FYI: I just got back from Smoke Creek area. Although I didn't drive the Pyramid stretch the other end was dry and dusty in fact.
