Guys,
I need to brag on Jack , He is the painter that works in Edwin's shop. Jack and Alex did a great job of painting the front end of my 1967 Mustang project, and restoring the old paint to match. They still need to do some final buffing and cleanup, but it just looks amazing. :D

Mark,

I does look really nice... Are taking it to Roundup? :D

You laugh, but I have this fear that Edwin will get sick of looking at a Mustang in his shop and Spring it over, and toss on some 36 inch tires!!! :D

Not going to bring it to Round up - but maybe the next meeting, or Cruiser and Coffee.

Looks good Mark, but I don't see any red powder coat bling on it. Where's the Cruiser Crap bottle opener?

I think Iam going to mount one of the skull and cross bone poppers in the trunk after I get it trimmed out with new carpet.

My plate came in today! ;)

I think you should paint the ribs inside the trunk red. So when you open it, you see a great big M.

Did you get the 10 year plan on that plate? That's the only way it's affordable, IMO. Here is the one I put on my Taco, (we have 3 Dalmatians):

I had my last Toyota P/U for 15 years, so the 10 year plan is pretty safe.

looks great Mark. He did a great job.

Jack is going to redo parts of the roof of my 40 and also repaint it. I just been waiting for a good time to go drop it off.

Just remember, Jack takes his time, so don't be impatient. ;)

What would Jack charge to have a fj40 that is completely disassembled painted. No hardtop to paint, just fenders, apron, bib, tub, inside and out.... Oh and maybe a little body work as well...

Just to be clear, I was just a customer of Jack's, so all questions about pricing will need to be answered by Jack of course. Most people just go buy Edwin's shop to talk to Jack. He does not have a web site or phone, or office. I would suggest calling Edwin's shop and asking for Jack.

LCS Austin's Land Cruiser Specialist!

Good luck! Mark
