Great write up chris. Loved it. That was the best wheelin' trip I've had......because that's all we did. Didn't have to worry about anything else....still glad you went.

Good job Chris. It was a great weekend and nice to be so comfortable with no worries about an "event". And, for the record, I must have asked about 100 times "what kind of trails are you looking for? Was that good, too easy, too hard? We covered a lot of ground in a short time and the rains made the trails a bit tougher than usual. That said, the guys did GREAT and I wouldn't change a thing about how we spent our time. Ready to go again...

You got the BUG son!

Can't wait to see it with the new shoes on it.

jrob getting sticky-ickies?! 39 son!

...and what's wrong with them pics? I can't tag them:confused:

37" KM2's

The 345s like nolen's or the 365s ( I believe ) that are a little taller. These sizes will fit your 16 inch wheels. Or are you getting 17 inch beadlocks ? : )

That's a good call especially if it will see Mall Crusier duties still. Them sticky-ickies wear out fast on, well everything.
Once you see Lenny defy gravity, you're gonna think it's because all the mods he did, but then eventually you'll catch on that it's the tires... I've seen novices wheel for years and then suddenly look like pros, only change was stickies. no sticks no stems.

Yeah stickies also extend the wheelbase, add hp, Lower your gear ratio and act like a how to tutor .
They also make chics drop their panties on site!

Don't I wish...

Depending on the chicks in attendance I would like to be on site for the first demonstration!

Bodean, He's joking.

Girls that like stickies don't wear panties.

Very nice writeup Chris! Bossman is a great trail guide. He is like the Pied Piper, except we're not rats.

LOL!!!!!

I think the tire choice is perfect. Not too tall, not too wide. I think the 365's would have ended up being a bit too wide for the rims you have.

These tires spec out almost exactly like a red/blue label 37" Krawler. It is basically the same tread, not quite as big of blocks.

Stickies are awesome but there are some major problems.

First is availability. You must get them from a competitor and these guys won't go buying tires willy-nilly because if they get caught reselling them new, they loose their deal.

Second, price....

Third, they will not hold up to heat, ie the road. They will wear unbelievably fast on the road. Ask me how I know. Also, ask Bossman, Superlift is murder on stickies. The sharp rocks and the soft compound prematurely wear these tires.

Finally, although Jrob has built a nice crawler, he is still running stock Toyota everything. Although all of these items are upgradable to a point, you cannot imagine how much extra stress a sticky Krawler adds to the drivetrain components. It is a big issue. The light weight of Lenny's Zuk and lack of torque and power will make his upgraded drivetrain easily survive the stickies, but as much as a full size Cruiser weighs and the torque of a 2F, I think non-sticky 37's are a great choice.

So will you be rockin' these in a week and a half?

Totaly agree on tires, but don't short ElToro the Longfield superset, ARP hub and knuckle studs, upgraded hubs pins and ARP studs on the FF rear and ARB's. Not exactly a dana 60, but stronger than stock to be sure.
