I started a whole chikken on the smoker right before halftime, second game (when Al and Brett came by) and that SOB still isn't even

close to done yet! (like 125degrees, IT )

Then I just went out to throw some more wood (Pecan) on the smoker, the dam bowl of wood (in water) was frozen SOLID!

This is not like NC.

We could at least have some snow!

Did you finally get to eat??? I looked damn good, so I hope so.

It was done at about midnight. (and so was I:D)

That little 3.5lb bird took 6 hours!

Gonna go have some for breakfast right now.

Smoked chicken, egg, and cheese burritos FTW!

Yeah damn right, I have lived in Raleigh my whole life and never have I seen the lake at the airport nor Lake Crabtree frozen on the surface like it was. Kindof funny to sea ducks that once swam in it only able to walk on the surface.

You have no idea how much I would love to have that!

That is goregous!

Mine will be a hole in the ground lined with cinder blocks and the cheapest metal grate I can find. :hillbilly: haha

I have about a $50 budget to work with.:hillbilly:

This is something I want to do but I have to fence in my back yard and flatten it out also.

We had the yard fenced within months of moving in.:flipoff2:

The yard leveling was a key selling point to the wife, when I dig the pit, the extra dirt will be perfect to level the area right next to it that currently has standing water/ice! :D

I'd need to dig a hell of a pit to level my back yard. It's so F-d up its not funny. I'm at the lowest part of an oval and all the water flows through the back. I have some gulleys in the back yard that would be fund to put a wheel of the cruiser in.

I'm definitely not a professional...but I did install some french drains and tied all the downspouts together in our back yard - we had tons of run off that was destroying the back.
If you need help.......talk to Jason - ha!

I actually learned a lot doing it, definitely should have rented a bigger ditch witch!
Hit me up if you're getting serious and I can give you the layman's hints & tips.

Go on and send all the hints, tips to me you can.

This will most likely be a summer project.... HAMOM anyone ;)

Let me know the equipment you need and I will provide it for you....if Hamom maybe I will even try to have it delivered...will a D5 CAT do it?

I was actually talking HAMOM for the fence... but yeah a D5 CAT could work to help level out the back. I'm kinda lost where to start on it, i've go quite a large property line compared to the neighbors so my back yard (or at least what is in my line) changes quite a bit. When they built the neighborhood it really did go to the lowest bidder and no kind of drainage was put in at all.

Thanks for the offer, I might take you up on it one day when I get a handle on it all.
