I have the Dissent front bumper and am pretty sure my "fogs" worked at some point, but I noticed during a recent desert run that my "fogs" wouldn't turn on. Ben/Dissent wired them in to work as the factory fogs, but I decided to take this opportunity to separate them out and have the "fogs" run off my SwitchPro so that I can enable/disable them independently whenever I want. Rewiring to the SwitchPro went just fine...however, I am now getting parking sensor errors. I noticed that the White and Green wires that were previously wired to the "fogs" (they are now disconnected) are part of the same loom/plug as the front parking sensors, so I assume my problem lies there, but don't really understand why since I just removed those two wires from the Rigid "fogs" to enable the wiring to the SwitchPro.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’d first reach out to Dissent to see if they have any ideas.

I'd carefully look over the connectors, wires and pins in the area where you were working to make sure everything (connectors, pins) is plugged back in, well seated, no wires were damaged, etc.

I had my factory fogs disconnected for a year or more when I was running BD LED fogs off my Switch-Pros, and didn't have any issues.

You probably know this, but one nice thing about running LED lights through the Switch-Pros is that you can dim them, and if you have a new enough version, you can have them default to a lower brightness by default when turned on.

Can't find anything loose or damaged...that is what is so strange. The message is something about cleaning the sensors, but I did that and got no change.

I assumed this would be straightforward as you implied...not sure where the issue could be. You left the Green and White wires from your factory fogs disconnected during that time? No need for them to complete any circuit for the sensors?

I don't know what color the wires were, but yes, I just unplugged them from the factory fogs, and zip tied them out of the way.
