My friend has a solid 1fz from a 94 for sale. It would bolt right up and you'd only have to replace the ecu to make it work.

A 91 just became available in WA state...I freighted one from oregon to fresno for about 350 bucks. I paid 600 for the complete motor. The engine I refer to is a 91, but I swapped a 92 into my 88 no problemo, just switch a couple of brackets and keep your tstat housing and sensors. HTH

Jits- how manymmiles on your friends 1fz? price?

190k. As far as I know, there's no headgasket issues (ran fine when it was parted out). He's @tonsofun here on mud'. You'd have to discuss price with him.

I'm not certain that would bolt right in, I think you'll need wiring harness and also trans issues.

I have a 3fe ran great with compression and oil pressure tested. Am selling Toyota pickup exported into Gig Harbor, WA on Monday 29th, maybe could put into the box for mudship meetup? I am on Vancouver Island, Canada.
