stripped my 84 3BT down to do what I thought was a head gasket failure. Turns out my head has a nasty crack in it. Does anyone have any leads on a used 3B head? I purchased one from EBI but when I got it magnaflux tested it failed. Luckily Steve wasn’t going to charge me until I found out for sure if it was usable or not.

Called 4 wheel auto in Edmonton too. Nothing.

Any leads would be great.

Thanks!

Did you show Steve the crack in the head?

He told me sometimes they are cracked but can still be used.

Also, too tall might have one.

Yeah. It was definitely causing issues too. It was chewing through coolant and bubbling in the overflow at shutdown. Cracks between the valves are common and fine to run but I was told this was worse than normal.

Where is too tall?
