It was dampish while we were up island too, but I don't even like thinking about how many rv's must be clogging up those roads in the summer :bang:
 
Hi BC40! Wish you would have! Was that you with the camper on the dolly? Was going to come over and help, but it looked like you had it under control.
Do you get to the island often? That was our first time exploring north of Nanaimo... so much more to see and do, but next time when the chance of it being drier is better!
yes that was me. decided to go for it. should fit the family a bit better than the roof tent for longer road trip camping. kids are only getting bigger.
couple summer trips to the island past few years, so not there that often. seen some great places and camped some nice spots and will be back next year for sure. a lot of ground to cover to see island. north island is great. some nice beaches and rocky shorelines to explore with far less people. some good fishing. but i think there are some bigger trees left south half of the island.
