I don't know if I'm going for sure, and my wife might come, if she doesn't then your welcome to the seat. I am trying to plan the weekend and want to know whats going on with you guys. Where are the powerlines that were mentioned?

ok thats cool mark..ill try find another seat if i can and if this is actually happening

plan for wheeling this weekend

Hey all,
Sorry for the delay in getting info posted about the wheelin' trip this weekend but we now have a plan:

When: Sunday, June 11th
Where: Meet at A&W parking lot in Sooke
Time: 9:30 am

Planning on a stocker friendly run. At least a couple of us will have a good selection of recovery gear should it be needed--those who have gear, please bring it along.
Please ensure you at least have your own spare tire :grinpimp:

If you have any questions, call Kirk or I (Christina) at 216-5613.
Looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday morning.

Cheers,
mrs. crusty

is anybody comming from mill bay or north that has a spare seat? my rig is still apart:frown: but if i can catch a ride with somone i wouldnt mind seeing what kind of stuff you guys consider "stock". split some gas money if you want as well...lemme know guy-lamontagne@hotmail.com

well, if I do come there's a pretty good chance I'll have an empty seat, but it all depends on how much I get done today. and at the moment, drinking coffee in my pj's, not a lot is getting done:hillbilly:

ok, sounds good Ryan, give me a call and let me know whats up then 733-2148

Sorry I missed the meeting last weekend and even sorrier my toy ain't up and running yet, (stupid ICBC). Hope you're all havin a blast on the stocker run right now. I'm totally into bein a member of an island chapteretc.. ffel free to let me know any more info if I miss it. Got a lot goin on these days it seems

yep, seems it's not happenin today for me either, few too many loose ends on the cruiser to have the shakedown run so far away.

I'll make the next one....

fawk, just noticed the meeting time was 930...for some reason I thought it was 11 so I'd have been kinda late even if I had driven over the hump...

A big thanks to Kirk & Christina for getting the first quasi-official VI Cruiser run off the ground. Another big thanks to them for having a winch on the front of the truck....I'll take it easier next time. 3 cruisers is a great start. I had a great time and look forward to the next opportunity to get my truck wedged between a gate post and a bunch on debris. Also!, for the record, Jake (7 yrs old) explained that the creek was shallow on the right.....apparently he meant the other right. Mike and Stephanie, great to have you along as well. It was great to meet you'alll (thats American for both of you....hey I'm bilingual)

Cheers

Good try Lane, more like ya'll? More lessons next time tho, eh?
Seriously, that was a great time, and I can't wait to do it again... We all made it out, relatively, unscathed... I think a side mirror was the only casualty.
Thank's again guys for making a noob Yankee and his girlfriend feel welcome. We can't wait to do it again.
Check wussypup's idea for some pics.
Cheers!
