Ok no one else will step up to the plate i am going to see how many people are interested. Not sure if two of these will fit in a priority small box. So i am not sure what to charge for shipping from missouri to you in the states. They will sell them to us for $90 plus shipping. The more we buy the cheaper the shipping. Just to ship 5 sets is $130 in shipping charges that is the cheapest they will ship. Paypal fees are going to cost 3 or 4 dollars. I think we can get these for $126 total per set but we have to buy a min of ten. Other wise the cost for shipping goes up. I will start taking names to see if we can get enough people interested. I will take two 8 to go. Send me a pm if your interested in a group buy. Once we have the min i will send you a pm on paypal instructions. We will see what the interest is.
 
Pinhead: It looks normal. If there is play in the knuckle bearings or if it was leaking worse (dripping gear lube) then it would be time to worry about it.

Pin's right, I'd just clean off the birf, make sure it's filled with grease and go with it.

If so how long do I have? It's my daily driver but only 10 miles/day. I probably can't get to it for another month.

From the pictures, the knuckles are very low on moly, maybe 1/4 full, if that, should be 1/2 to 3/4 full. In that condition, it takes very little gear oil seepage to contaminate what is likely old moly grease. My first step would be to add a half tube of moly to each knuckle and change the gear oil (likely thick, contaminated with moly) then drive it and see what you have.

Agree 100% --- I just wipe my knuckle area & watch it every few thousand street or closer & more frequent getting close to a trip or after one.

The rubber boots are sorta hiding your window to quick-check how well your seals are holding IMO.
 
Don't get those if you wheel in mud or water crossings, they will just fill up and hold it in.

Maybe, but the split boots that I have used always leaked. The knuckles shouldn't leak on the driveway, if they do there are issues that need to be addressed.

Yes, but the split boots you have used were the same ones I used, and they were on spinning CV joints. I don't see the knuckle spinning a whole lot ;)

I was thinking of swing axle VW (also don't spin) but agree that split boots suck.

Those boots remind me of the s***ty boots that some shocks come with. You know the kind......holds dirt and water in causing more problems than preventing.

I would much rather glance under the truck to see what my knuckles are looking like than lay on my side to take all those little nuts and bolts out!
 
The only thing your seeing by just glancing under the truck at the knuckle is if your oil seal is good or not. No more, no less.

Disagree, can often get an idea of the grease level in the knuckle. In the case of the OP, it's pretty obvious:
