I've been over at a friend's house who happens to redue 40's. Now I want one. I see the practicle use from my 62, but I have no kids, nor want any. I have a wife, dog, and cat. I don't think the animals will care if its a 62 or a 40. My wife loves wagons so obviously she would get the 62. Its not like I would part with my first cruiser.....So what do yall think. Add the 40 or blow my foot off??

Get the 40, you can never just have one cruiser. You need one to drive while you work on the other.:D I can't wait to buy a 40.:)

You'll never get over it if you don't go ahead and buy a 40. Check the credit line on your fuel cards, get a kidney belt, plan on spending as much $ as a couple years of college for those kids you won't have.

If it is going to be a DD you'l want the 62 back, soon.
Buy it

buy it, i have a 60, and an 80, keep telling my wife we need a 40 for the collection, then one of those new fangled fjcruisers, oh yeah, a 55 would be sweet, and a 45............and how about one of those bj70's imported from canada, now that would be fun (I need a bigger garage, and a higher paying job)

I checked out one of those new cruisers today.....too much plastic!! I think the new fj will apeal to those who like retro but don't have th ability to tinker. buy a 55 and use the remaining portion of the 31000 to restore it....then you will like your vehicle.

My friend who restores 40s also has a 45....too f'ing sweet....i would trade my dog and maybe both testicles for it.....like is said, absolutely sweet.

unfortunately, it's totally normal. on my short list right now is a 40 and a 55. 55s are just too cool - i want a stock looking rig with just enough lift to slide a nice set of 32s/33s under it with steel rims and hubcaps. like it just drove out of the 60s. i want a 40 for a little open air action.
