Is this 08 LX 570 a good buy?

Found one nearby(couple hrs) with only 137 K miles, just second owner, immaculate inside and out. Seller is firm at 28,000. Also, with the model changes in the 2008, there is more technology and goodies. Any major maintenance things I should be on the lookout for? Thanks.

Assuming it is as good as you say, and has good records, that seems like a fair price. Since it is a 14 year old truck, you'll still want to go through it pretty well once you get it and replace all the fluids/belts/hoses/plugs etc.

Probably a good deal, but I echo what Tim said. Definitely check out AHC and 4WD systems as well as lines, hoses, check for rust, have a trusted mechanic look at it, etc.

To echo the others, if it's in good shape both cosmetically and mechanically, then that price is fair.

The 2010 got Bluetooth for music whereas 08-09 is phone calls only if I'm not mistaken. That price seems reasonable my '10 was 22.5 with 210k. Like everyone else is saying don't buy a rusty vehicle. You don't want ahc bleed valves that don't work because you will likely be bleeding the system yourself. Oftentimes dealers don't want to touch it.

I would think 28k was top of the market for a 08-09 model. But if it is very clean and well maintained, I’d say it’s reasonable. There are not many mechanical differences between a 2008 and a 2015, other than some software upgrades and updated bumpers.

Things to lookout for would be:

(you’ll have to search on these for more detail)

Rust
Fully functioning AHC
Make sure CDL and 4Lo actuators engage, if they are a little slow you can most likely remedy that with use.
SaIS still working or properly bypassed
Rust
Water in floorboards (common leaks from improper installed windshield, cowl weather seal failure, clogged sunroof drains)
Cam tower leak
Valley plate coolant leak
Rust
Radiator replaced yet (if not inspect for crack and expect to replace soon)

With the exception of rust and sustained water ingress(electrical gremlins), all of these can be remedied by a good mechanic or DIYer and are not things to avoid, just want to know going in if they are immediate needs.
