Is it okay to use my Super Lube Silicone Grease ( with PTFE) for my driveshaft ?

So I bought the Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Grease with PTFE to lube up my UCA"s.

Here's the Amazon link. Super Lube 92150

I'm wondering if its okay to use this same grease for lubing my drive shaft.

I know a lot of people run lithium or moly for their shafts.

I don't have a problem buying another grease gun with other lube in it, but it would be awesome to only have to deal with 1 grease gun.

I am going to say no. I have the same super lube for my uca’s as well. I use Mobil1 for driveshafts. Might switch to something else, the grease gun is dripping so the oil has separated. Could be wrong though and looking forward to seeing others responses.

@ADVFamilyHauler how about the Super Lube 41150 multi purpose lube ?

Looks like there's several discussions about it but I've really not gotten any good answer on it. It's a highly rated lube by everyone, just want to make sure it'll due for my driveshaft lubing.

Not sure. Think I will go with amsoil multi-purpose next time for the driveshaft.

I caved in and took a lunch break to the local Harbor Freight and picked up another grease gun and a tube of CRC Sta-Lube Moly Graph Extreme Pressure

Hits all the marks.

NLGI 2
Lithium with Moly
Extreme Pressure rated

Plus, it was only $4.99
