Is Black Onyx(202) single stage?

I'm trying to figure this out, but I am pretty sure my '03 LX470 has single stage paint. The door code is 202 which is the same as my single stage 1993 4Runner. Even though that really means nothing, buffing it does result in some black, but I am unsure if that is the crud (etched bird poop, hardened sap) coming off or if it is actually single stage. Does anyone know? I figured I'd ask here before calling Toyota.

I have a black LX as well and have read elsewhere on Mud that the black and white are the only two colors that are single stage and do not have clear coat. Not sure if this is correct, but I'm hoping that this is true. Mine was a southern truck and is in need of some buffing work to freshen the paint.

I can confirm that earlier Lexus vehicles with 202 paint code were single stage, but I can't confirm how long that lasted.

I did some wet sanding on my hood out of curiosity and no clear coat was present. Only color was showing up in the water. Definitely single stage.
