Hi everyone,
I am in the process of installing an Ironman Premium front bumper for my 2013 Land Cruiser. I was attempting to install the mounting cradle portion to the frame and we cannot get the bolts coming off the frame rails to line up. It's off by approx 1/4 inch on every hole. The lower portion that is stopping them from going upwards and on to the bolts is the plate on the lower portion of the mounting cradle that the tie down/recovery points go through. Looked all over the mounting cradle and found a small, etched 025, corresponding to the 2008-2/2012 Land Cruiser part number, on the front of the plate. The part number for a premium bumper for a 2013-2015 is 043. Looks like they sent me the wrong cradle. I could cut notches in the mounting holes on the cradle, but don't want to damage/weaken the mounting area and don't know how that would affect fitment of the 043 bumper portion on to the cradle, other than lowering it by approx 1/4 inch. Anyone have any insight on this? Sounds like I need a different (043) winch cradle. I am surprised the bolts sticking out on the front of the frame are different on an LC 200 from the same generation (200 series), although 2008-2012, 2013-2015, and 2016-2021 are all cosmetically different. Of course it's a Sunday afternoon and they are closed, but I know some Ironman guys are on these forums. Was hoping someone might have some insight. Already cut the old bumper, so guess I'll be sporting the bumper-less look for a while... talk about a good approach angle!
Thanks,
Adam

Well, apparently I need to read the instructions closer and take off the upper cut portion of the bumper cover. It was a tight fit, but got it on. Instead of going straight on, I “hung” the cradle off the bolts then I rotated the mount cradle downward onto the bolts. Had to hammer it on with a dead low then tighten it up to get it seated. The lower recovery point pieces are bending down but will snug up with the bolts in. Anyway, maybe this will help a fellow 200 series Ironman bumper install. Take the top, cut portion of the bumper cover off first to get enough space to get it on! And according to the Ironman CS rep, mounting cradle part 025 is interchangeable with the 043 bumper I have.
