Have any of you completed this process?
1. received replacement parts
2. get them installed by a shop
3. send receipts to ironman
4. receive check for reimbursement

I sent my receipts in on June 11th to the recall specific address, didn't get any sort of response... waited a week and sent a polite followup (on June 18th) addressed to the recall and general info address.

I got a reply that my request was being processed and to expect 2-4 weeks until I get a check...

A month and half later I sent another message stating I had not received a check... no response. Wait 11 days and send another message with no response. Sent another message a week ago and no repsonse.

I just tried calling them and their automated system is some guy trying to be funny. They listed options for making an order, checking on a current order and something else. They didn't have an option for recall inquiry and I couldn't remember the number for the number for the option related to orders so I let it play again. The next time around the guy is even more silly and the third time he's doing Macho Man Randy Savage impersonations. I got pissed and hung up. Obviously I will need to try calling again and try to get a person.

Have any of you gotten through this process? What was your experience. I wasn't that bent out of shape of having to deal with this since they were doing the right thing but it's getting to be rather annoying now.

Regarding physically calling them on the phone, if I'm trying to reach someone in a company and maybe there's no menu button for that department, I'll start trying to access any and ALL departments available in their phone menu. Eventually someone will care enough to direct you the person you need to speak with.
Also, don't forget about trying 0 (zero), which sometimes gets you a operator or front desk who can direct you.
Good luck! 🤞

I was told 2-4 weeks for processing as well. It took about 2 months to receive the reimbursement check.

I did email recallus@ironman4x4.com after 6 weeks and got a response the next day. I'm surprised they haven't responded to your recent emails.

Call them back and hit that 0 to get a live person like r2m suggests.

My first reimbursement was refunded in 21 days (submittal on 6/3/2024, check received on 6/24/2024).

They refunded the UCA labor, but they forgot to refund the $89.99 reciept for my alignment. On 6/27 they said they'd process it, but no check yet. I just pinged them again (thanks for the reminder).

When I don’t get any feedback with voicemails or emails.. I track down the Fax number.. most companies still have then but often gets noticed when other options fail

Ha. That’s clever. I’ve refused to send a fax for almost 20 years. That’s how long they’ve been obsolete. I’m only being half serious and you are likely employing a reasonable tactic. I’ve worked in tech in the legal industry for ages and it was hilarious watching people continue to use fax machines when they had access to super expensive printer/scanners and email(and the recipients did too). Hopefully I haven’t derailed my own thread. Ha. I just haven’t thought about a fax in a long time.

They responded to my email today and said the check was sent and should arrive anytime.

For reference, no shops around here were willing to install customer-provided parts. I did it myself and sent them an invoice for my own labor. They paid it :).

Last week I noticed a weird squeak coming from front driver wheel area when backing out of the driveway. I looked all around and found that my Ironman Foam Cell Pro shock was rubbing against the spring and wearing through the paint and into the metal on the spring.
My guess is when they assembled them the top hat/spring were slightly out of alignment and I didnt notice.
They were installed November 2022 and have probably 30k-35k miles on them.
Sent a pic into them. They asked for a couple more pictures and then replied "yep, that aint right. You still at the address on the order?"

Within 3 days I had a brand new complete front set at my doorstep no charge, no request for the old ones.
Ironman is a damn good company in my opinion.

I has the same spring/shock rubbing issue too and they also honored the warranty. Just sold my old front shocks on eBay to another forum member.

Between that, selling my new UCAs on eBay, and getting paid for my labor for replacement of the UBJs, the FCP kit has paid for a good part if it's original purchase price.

Ironman is playing 'the check is in the mail ' game with me. I offered to email them a prepaid shipping label, and they declined. Four months later, and countless emails... nothing. I tried calling, and the guy said someone would call me back.

@Ironman4x4Bubba any idea what is going on with payment processing?

I had my UCA's replaced this summer. The whole process took about 3 months for me. Started the process beginning of August and received the check mid October.

What did you replace them with? Or just go OEM.

Their Google listing states they are temporarily closed, so I can only imagine this recall affected their bottom line.
