Let me introduce myself, My name is Chris, and I live in the Chattanooga area (quite a bit north of there, actually, but nobody knows where Charleston is) my wife DD's an 80 series, and we have been hearing good things about the TN LCA club, so I am here checking it out.

Also - I am desperately seeking parts for an 80 series, body parts or whole tubs specifically for cheap, as I am trying to save our 80 from Insurance totaling it after a wreck in the recent ice storms. if you guys have any info on such a thing, please PM me.

Also info on joining up, dues, etc?

Welcome. I think there are several guys down in the chatt area.

Marius (that is his screenname) had an 80 that he was parting out. Not sure if he still has it or if he is looking to part the whole tub, but you could PM him and see.

Welcome you can come to a meeting to join or go to out website.

What exact parts are you needing?

The web site is back up , not sure what happened.

Is this Chris from Soddy? Maroon taco & BMW owner?
Negative - Chris from Charleston, Red Tacoma, and an All Toyota family.

Was needing body parts, fender, hood, rear drivers door, and a cut out quarter panel, but its a wash now, got my first good look at it today since the crash, and talked to the shop, $7200 worht of damage, even with the parts prices I did find her eon mud vs the shop pricing, I can only get repairs down to around $4K. Looks like I will be 80 shopping.

Unsure so far. have a guy in Nashville that is interested in her, and I may keep the axles for my 1st gen 4runner crawler, and part out the rest. It just depends on the difference in $$ between a total loss and me buying it back.
Honestly, I would love to buy it back, keep it around till we buy a new one, steal any parts I need, then part out the rest. Not sure how it will go yet.
