Hello guys, long time reading this forum but I didnt had the courage to suscribe, until now. Sorry if I make some writing mistakes, but english it is not my natural language
3 years ago I found a 99 Land Cruiser HZJ105 almost abandoned in a used cars lots. It didnt even run the engine (the starter was missing). Surprisingly, when we (me and my mechanic) opened the hood we found an 1HDT engine inside and had manual transmission. So, I felt as if I had found a hidden jewel, despite its 380,000 km (like 240,000 miles) and a visible appearance of never being taken care. I guess the previous owners did not even washed it. They just used it and abused of it
I bought it at good price (compared to the local market, not the US market) and started the "restoration" process
I didnt take pictures of every single thing that we had to do it to "convert it" in a DD, because we spend like 20 months and a LOT of work (it took so long, mostly for economic issues)... But, here there is, RUPERTA and some of her changes
A FEW DAYS AFTER THE BUYING DAY. ALL CLEAN
A TERRIBLE AIR FILTER
