I had the work done at RPM Fab. The guys there were really quick and did a great job. Powder coated & all in about a week.

I will keep checkin back. Great to finally find some people that want to go out & play! David

Just wanted to post up quickly to say hi. My name is Andy and I live out in Chandler.

No cruiser yet but keeping a keen eye open for a decent 80 or possibly a 100 to accomodate the expanding family...4th little one is soon to arrive.

Don't hold it against me but I'm a Jeeper who has always had a thing for Cruisers. I've had 5 Wranglers of various generations and modifications as well as 2 XJ Cherokees.

I don't have anything 4wheel drive at the moment and haven't wheeled for a couple years. I am dead set on finding a Cruiser although pickins are slim at the moment! If you happen upon anything decent for sale w/ a 3rd row, please shoot me an IM. Otherwise, as long as it is ok, I'll just lurk around these parts until I find a rig.

I saw a white 95-97 80 at a tiny dealer on the south side of McDowell east of Miller. No price posted, might be worth a look.:meh:

New to IFS not to Toyotas

Eric, Live down in Maricopa. Have some other buddies down here that have Toyotas.

Had a few Toyotas over the years.
1980 with dual cases, and sliders.
1985 4runner with locker 33's and a 5vz motor swap.

Most recent ride is a 2000 Tacaoma
lift, 33's, e-locker. Needed something more streetable. That I could still wheel.

Looking for a group to wheel,wrench..whatever..with

Used to be part of a club back in CA..Gold Coast Cruisers.

Hoping to come up and check out the next meet.

I drove that one. It was BEAT for only having 117k on it. No lockers either. DOH!

Hey guys...

I live in Peoria, AZ and looking for some others to start making trail runs with. I just got back into wheeling, and all of the old local trails have been built on.

85' 4runner
EFI
5.29's & Locked F/R
4.7:1 T-case
30 spline Longfields
Cross-over kit
Rock sliders
Chevy springs in the rear
35's on beadlocks
etc...

Hey everyone, from out north of Wickenburg, where we have lived since 2002. After a year of work with some local tradesmen, some help from and $ to mud vendors, and countless hours in the mud reading room, I finally have a (mostly) drivable FJ40. Sakimoto is a 6/74 with the original F.5, and a few upgrades made along the way, with many more to come.

It looks like I will be moving to upgrading the engine at some point, too, most likely to a 2F. Do any of you have recommendations as to who is experienced and will do a good job rebuilding the 2F? Say, someone within 150 miles of Wickenburg? I am keeping an eye out for a good used 2F that I can then have rebuilt to factory spec.

--thanks

Finally found the right truck. Should be officially joining the club soon. The new expeditionary mall crawler with plenty of room for soccer balls up top!

Hello I am a soon to be Phoenix area resident. My wife is moving this weekend to Gilbert to start a job. I will be following in the next few months.

I am looking forward to exploring the AZ landscape and wheel out west.

I am a member of Cottonland Cruisers currently and will be submitting my application to CSC come Jan.

I have noticed that a few have 100 series how do the IFS trucks perform? I was thinking about selling my diesel 4Runner before moving out west but I might keep it if it suits the terrain.

I have currently a 94 1KZ-TE diesel 4Runner and a 88 FJ62 I wheel them both but I prefer the 62 wheeling.

I will be willing to help wrench and help with anything or anyone. I have some things to build on my 62 before leaving the dirty south to AZ.

Look forward to meet you all and being part of CSC.

Welcome - nice stable of yota's! DIESEL 4runner??? Sweet!

Welcome, hope you like HEAT!:hillbilly:

The Runner is a good size, works well for most stuff. The ifs tends to get beat up, requires more maintenance/repair. Depending on the type of wheeling that you prefer, may or may not be an issue, there is always the option of a SAS?

If I keep it SAS is the next step.

Might try to get it done before I move.
