I am new to the Landcruiser World. I have a 1988 FJ-62, Automatic Transmission, rebuilt engine 30,000 miles. I installed a HFS 3 inch lift kit and a ARB locker in the rear. I have replaced the tires with 33x10.5x15. The body is in pretty good shape. I attended the September TLCA event in Missouri and had a great time. I'm open to any suggestions and / or recommendations on maintaining my rig. Would really like to go out West. I have very little experience off-roading.

as for suggestions or recomendations....Get out there and get dirty. Tread lightly. Have fun.

Oh, and take someone with you that knows what they are doing, so when you get stuck they can laugh at you and then help you get out. But from the mods that you have done you may have to break some parts to get stuck.

Did you install the ARB yourself? If so how hard was it?
