InfoJunk, you need to rebuild too?

I've opened my front a few times, even dropped the dif, but never done a "rebuild". The going rate says a full day and half. That would mean I'd need more time since I plan on pounding out a dent in my pumpkin. Would this be too much?

Could this happen before the end of year????

I can do knuckles in about 3 hours if I have all the tools and parts available. Also check with Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters I believe he has a complete rebuild kit.

I can do the full deal in a day, easy. This includes all the races, etc. Clean up is the biggest ugh.

If we did three in my garage (or four) I would need money since my house would stink of gear oil and grease for weeks :)

Dan,

The STLCA had a shop work day yesterday at Roger's shop. One of the projects was full knuckle rebuild on an FZJ80. The owner and two other members had never done this before so it was a learning experience for them. We had three experienced 'instructors' available for instruction and hands-on demonstration, so it went very smoothly. The following link has a few pictures posted of the day (https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=186692&page=2). I would expect you would have similar a day in your shop.

Except my shop isn't nearly that "shop" :)

Garages don't count!

Garage may accurately describe your work space, but what you accomplish there can still make it a shop and it is your shop.

The topic has gone silent, so maybe interest has lost a footing until after the holidays.

I Got Shop!

Im still interested. After the holidays was right! Took the 80 to Times Square.

I am still game if we can line things up...

I would like to help and learn..... if you'll let me?:bang:

Let me know when and where.

definitely would be interested in doing this!

Just waiting on someone to contact me about logistics. I am happy to help as I am able.
