Thought I'd fish over here , not getting anything in the 40 section. 1965 FJ40 hardtop, not sure if my interior hardtop and sidewall color is original (pic) or not. It's white with grey flecks or grey with white flecks (ignore the rust color, it's from the metal gutter which is getting de-rusted), kind of a rough finish (but not like bedliner rough). When sanding I'm not finding any other color below this, so wondering if original ??? Any ideas what this paint is so I can match as best as possible.
Fiberglass top removed I.webp

No that would have been done later. I have a few earlier tops and they a had a head liner. Pretty much the same as the later tops with no padding.

Actually, I think this is original (there may have been a headliner to cover this up as well). Remember that stuff you used to see inside of trunks on old(er) cars? Jay from another post on the 40 forum pointed me to this --> Zolatone - Buy Warehouse Direct and Save. I think the silver/gray will work.

Actually, I will agree with Living In The Past. Not only does he know more about these older cruisers than I ever will, not once have I ever seen such 'paint' in all my research on the older Cruisers.

Both fiberglass roof panels I have had the liner originally, and as far as the inside of the top sides, and back door, they would have been painted the same color as the exterior of the cruiser.

Keep in mind that these old cruisers have been around for a long time...a lot of people have done a lot of things to them

yeah, hard to tell with something that's 45 years old.
