Recently completed this mod along with the rear Russian camera spray nozzle, since I had to take the back panel off for both. (Might as well only remove that gummy plastic once.). Turned out well, and very easy to do. I tapped into the switch wiring side and used a 7.2V battery molex connector I had salvaged from some old batteries and RC cars. It didn’t have to be water proof as I put it on the cabin side of the plastic sheet. Also, I used plastic flex shielding as I ran it through an existing hole in the inner skin.
The switch I purchased off eBay, was a flush button momentary switch. In the location it’s installed and being flush, should prevent accidental triggering by our dog or anything I carry in the back.

So the button shown is for the interior rear window to open. What did you use for the camera washer button?
THAT would be nice to have. Often when doing a lot of dusty or muddy trails, my camera gets all mucked up and have to remember to wipe it off when I get gas.
A washer would be great because I usually don't realize how bad it is until I'm needing to see what's behind me when backing up!

The rear camera sprayer is “T” into the rear window sprayer. Not sure who originally found this, but here is the link to the nozzle/kit for GX’s (I used Chrome’s translate capability):

I found the CleanCam from Russia. At first they didn't take Paypal but that obviously got straightened out.

Whatever I do, it will have to be custom since having to relocate my camera onto my jerry can mount. Couldn't see anything in the stock location after I added the swing-out spare and jerry cans!
