Greetings! Well...I got my BJ-45 running after a rather protracted engine overhaul. It sounds nice, too. Next on the hit parade, though, is gauges. None of the instrument cluster gauges work except the speedometer / odometer. The turn signal and brights indicators work, but fuel gauge, oil, water, and volt meters are all dead dead dead. Sigh.

So...what have folks done? I have been thinking of building a completely new instrument cluster and fitting it (I do intend to completely rewire the vehicle. As is common here in Africa the electrical system is in horrible shape due to well meant but incompetent repair.) Replacement with working used gauges sounds easier, though....

Thanks!

Similar request from jaymundy...Has anyone re gauged a 40 with aftermarket gauges that looked original. I have a 73 that want to keep the original look. Pictures Please !
