Inner and Outer tie rods (1 Viewer)

I replaced my rotor and pads on the front of my rig this weekend and noticed a little play in the wheel. Went to look at the outer tie rod on the driver side and there is some movement there.. On the other side it seems like the inner tie rod may be wearing as well. I have 195K and a tough dog lift. Who here has replaced their tie rods because of wear and at what mileage? Any good suggestions on parts? Thanks!

Replaced mine because they were rusted tight and couldn't get an alignment. Check with cruiseroutfitters they have a kit with everything you need.

What size wrenches are needed for the inner joint and to hold back on the steering rack?

I made my own tool but you can get away with a 1 7/8 crowfoot.

Resurrecting an old thread, but what are the symptoms that point to worn tie-rods, especially diagnosing inner vs outer tie rods in a j200/201?

I know the jack the wheel and 3&9pm hands shake, but is there something very particular to look for when driving?
